I saw this captioned picture and laughed out loud because I've been there. Every married man can respond the same. Don't get me wrong, though. Marriage to Her Majesty has been a good thing. Without it I probably would have been living in a homeless shelter. In two days we'll have tied the knot for fifty-three years. That's a long time for most folks.
Maybe on the 27th I'll reminisce about our wedding day. It was, like most experiences in my life, a classic. Situations occurred that your normal white guy doesn't have: Central Iowa, December 27, cold, snow. What could go wrong?
