NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The Tennessee Department of Health said about 300 people were incorrectly traced as COVID-19 cases due to a coding error.
A spokesman with the department told FOX 17 News that a coding error occurred last week that caused some contacts to be 'erroneously classified as “cases.”' Officials said about 300 people who were contacts were told they were being monitored as cases.
