Cain first came to prominence during Clinton's first run for the presidency when Clinton told Cain in front of a large audience to raise the price of his pie to give his workers a raise. Cain put Cliinton in his place by giving him a lesson in economics. From there Cane took on a national presence.
His downfall among the media was that he was a true conservative black man unlike the Left's heroes.
Cain was even tempered and a nice man.
