One would come to believe the NBA, NFL and now MLB would understand that the average American desperately desires politics should stay out of our lives. Sports in a particular brings together race, men and women equally, liberals and conservatives. The want to root for the home team and are passionate about doing it.
I need someone to explain to me the decision by by the NCAA regarding college sports. Title IX passed as an equal rights piece of legislation for women especially in sports allowed the gals to compete.
In many cases men's college sports were canceled so the money could be spent on women's sports. One in particular that personally grinded me was when Iowa State Univ. got rid of baseball so they could start a softball team.
I've said it before and I'll continue to state: Why should guys who say they are female be able to compete as females?
Yesterday, the NCAA weighed in, The NCAA reaffirmed its decision to refuse to hold college championships in states where laws “discriminate” against male athletes who identify as female. The board of governors issued a statement that “firmly and unequivocally” supports the inclusion of transgender athletes in college sports.
