For Those Who Want To Live In A Cave

There was a political ad in the Columbus Dispatch yesterday. You know it, The Paper That All Of Ohio Depends On. Anyway, they ran a political ad about a woman running for the state legislature. She's from Dublin, Ohio, undoubtedly one of the finest, most affluent communities in Ohio if not in the country.

She's a Democrat. She's also a teaching doctor at the Ohio State University. Her husband works at a tech company and she lives in Dublin. She was nice enough to place her priorities for our community in her political ad: better schools, better infrastructure, raising the economics of the area.  She believes wages in Dublin need to rise. I haven't checked where she lives but its not in a hovel, I'm sure. She's out of touch.

Dublin has so many street projects going on it's impossible to drive anywhere without seeing a 'loafer' standing in the street holding a slow-stop sign. Our schools would put most major universities to shame. When visitors come to our home one of the first things we do is take them on a tour of home just to watch their jaws drop.

We are building a multi-million dollar state of the art library. We have already built in downtown Dublin apartments overlooking the Scioto River that go for one million dollars.

The Council Bluffs Cowboy sent me an article this morning referring to UPS.

The world’s largest package-delivery company, UPS, is looking to employ as many as 40,000 seasonal employees on Friday, during a hiring blitz it is calling “Brown Friday.”

So, if you want to live in a cave, start fires with trees ignited by lightening and eat grubs and leaves vote Democrat.
