I watched a video from Campus Forum yesterday. One of their reporters went to a college campus and interview students about the 4th of July. It was a basic question. What is the 4th of July? None of these college kids knew. Then the interviewer asked what year we gained our independence. The answers varied from 1964 to 1865. I wasn't surprised.
Toward the end a girl was interviewed. She was a school teacher of 5th graders. Yes, she didn't know any answers to the questions. She was asked what she taught in social studies Her answer was that social justice was most important. Specifically, she taught about Black Lives Matter.
If I happened to be a parent today with kids in school I do believe I'd do some serious investigation as to what is going on in the classroom.
