I wonder what it is about oil pipelines that creates such passion by the 'Greenies'. It's easily searchable to find the answers about which mode of transportation is most damaging to the environment. In first place would be oil spills by on the road tankers. Next up are railroad tankers followed by tanker spills on our waterways so I ask why are oil pipelines the red-headed step-sister?
