The State Of Things Today

As everyone who reads this blog knows I'm a skeptic when it comes to what we hear from the media, from our politicians and from people in general. My high school football coach, a truly great man, once told me, "Never trust your best friend. That way you'll never be disappointed." He said this to me in 1963. It made an impact.

As a 75 year old retired man with little to do during the day I research the news. In the last 15 months I can't tell you the number of hours I've gone through files to check out the veracity on subjects. I look at the liberal sites as I do the conservative ones.

From the get go the information and formation of info on the Wuhan virus caused me to research like never before. It's my belief the spread of fear mongering about the virus was part of a huge plan to destroy the presidency of Donald Trump. When we first heard about its problems it was pooh-pooed by the likes of Nancy Pelosi who begged people to come to Chinatown. The inimitable Anderson Cooper from CNN told us it wasn't that serious. When Trump called for a halt to travelers from China Joe Biden called him a xenophobe. Can you say politics?

I am not denying the existence of COVID 19. People got sick and people died. This is not good but we've had many, many viruses creep into this country. People have died from these. In December of 1968 I contracted the Hong Kong flu. I was literally in a coma for five days. With a population of 225 million people 135,000 citizens died from the Hong Kong flu.The CDC now says 9,500 actually died of COVID. The others mostly, 80%, were over age 80 with two or three underlying causes. That's a fact.) Our vaunted media let that flu die. They had bigger fish to fry----------or create an agenda and that was called Vietnam.

To be blunt I've written stories on this site that has deeply offended friend and for alike. It's(the blog) a result of freedom of the press. If you don't care for what I write go to another source. It's that simple. Why do you think I don't watch CNN or MSNBC?

It appears, through my writings, I've lost a friend who I've loved since the 1980's, He would read my blog about COVID but always referred to a friend who died of it. I understand people died and that's sad. There's a drug that has been on the market for many years. It was used to fight malaria and done successfully. The drug is cheap, about 5 cents a dose. But, because it was promoted by Donald J. Trump it was lambasted in the press. Tony Fauci came out against it. It's almost if, after he spoke against it, his words should have been placed on Moses' tablets. And now we find out that Trump was right about hydroxochloroquine. How many lives would have been saved? Would my now former friend's friend been saved? Who knows.

I have been called a total fool by many for not receiving a vaccination. Even The Queen, who has received two gave me some light-hearted grief. I have reasons for not receiving the shots and these are based on science. One study was done out of the Univ. of Louisville and another, believe it or not, from the Univ. of Washington. It was the contention of doctors at these facilities that the vaccines were placebos. When these results show up one can count on the Media and Fauci either denouncing or ignoring them.

There have been over 5,000 Americans who have died after receiving their shots. If you don't believe me get off your dead butts and look it up. There are thousands more who have had very serious after effects. The law says the FDA must stop the production of vaccines when 50 people have died. It's the law----period. Why hasn't action taken place against these shots? Politics, I'm sure.

I'm sad for my friend that his friend died. In my life I've known many people who died of cancer, in a car accidents. I had a very good friend who was cutting limbs off of a tree and the power saw had a backlash and decapitated him. My good buddy in Wisconsin had a granddaughter who was playing on a beach near the Pacific Ocean. Some of her friends and she dug a big hole. She crawled in and the sand engulfed her and she died. That, my friends, is a tragedy.

I have a very good friend who is 20 years younger than I. He is a national golf champ from Ohio State in the early 80's. His name is Clarke and he now lives in Costa Rico running an offshore gambling casino. His mother lives in Olathe, Kansas and last week he flew in to visit her. Prior to his flight he was required to receive two shots. The day after he arrived he and his brother, a guy who was best man in my wedding, attended a Kansas City Royals baseball game. In the first inning Clarke went into shock and game officials had to bring in a wheel chair and he was rushed to the hospital. The doctors said he suffered a severe reaction to the vaccines. As of right now Clarke is still in the hospital recovering from a vaccine that is supposed to save his life. I have to wonder if Clarke dies could I blame the vaccines as my friend did COVID?

If a person wants to get a vaccination good for them. I won't chastise anyone for trying to take care of themselves. Please don't say hateful things about me because I don't. It's that simple. Live and let live or something like that.
