The French Revolution And The Age Of Enlightenment

 I read article today from a Catholic publication, The Catholic Exchange, describing the horrors of the French Revolution and the attack on all religions but especially that of the Catholic Church. Daily 'blood letting' was mandatory. Destruction of all religious symbols was the order of the day. The persecutions of people of faith in the latter part of the 1700's was like that seen during the time of the Roman Empire. 

I couldn't help but fast forward to today to what is occurring all around the world with tinges of this hate permeating American society.
