Lawdy, lawdy, lawdy: This is the team I root for? The Chicago Cubs have introduced their new logo. This has to be a bad joke. First, you know how I feel about wearing caps backward. Twenty-five year old Yuppies wear their caps this way. Check out the baby blues. They instill fear into me. How 'bout you?Wonder what the St. Louis Cardinals think about this. Their mascot may only be a bird but for years on end they've given the Cubs the bird and gotten away with it. Besides, what other team aside from the Cubs would have the incredible ineptness to trade Lou Brock for losers?
From all indications the folks on the North Side aren't too pleased with this management decision. Last place---here we come.
