SOTU

With better things to do last evening, like watching the Iowa Hawkeyes blow a game, I didn't see our President give his SOTU series of lies. Besides, it's more fun to read about it the next day. Truth be told the Hawkeye game was over before the Big Lie took place but I found other things to do.
In reading accounts on the net this morning one thing caught my eye. During the speech Obama said that he would bypass congress if necessary to get things done----and members of congress applauded wildly! This would have the same impact as a doctor telling a patient he was going to de-testacle him. And they told him enthusiastically to go for it .
There are members of congress, elected by people in their district to represent them, who will gladly give up their constitutional power so that we can have a dictator in office. What else is there to say except we're in big trouble.
