I'd rather go back to the old days when dealing with food products. A pox forever on the jerk who first put poisons on products on the shelves. Some stuff like catsup and mustard have paper coverings on top. If it's been tamper with it's obvious to anyone except the Helen Keller's of the world.
My pet peeve is with the companies that put their products in plastic bags. For example, I had a ham sandwich for today's lunch. At the top of the unopened bag there were two hellish words that make me cringe: 'Tear Here'. This one gets me every time. It is impossible to 'tear here'. Then I'll put my teeth on it to 'tear here'. When that doesn't work I'll pick up some scissors and cut the 'tear here' sign to shreds.
There's gotta be a better way.
