The German legislature recently passed a law forbidding the killing of six-day old chick embryos since they are “sensitive to pain,” as well as the killing chicks because of their sex. Pella, Iowa is one of those quaint communities we'd all like to call home. Every year they have a magnificent tulip festival. The town of 10,000 is very Dutch Reformed in their religious views. Pella has a very large water park visited by folks from all around Iowa. This past week a 14 year old girl who says she's a guy walked around the pool area without a top. Isn't this what boys do? Except, she was already well endowed if ya' know what I mean.
And what did the City Father's say about all this in the strict religious community? Nuthin! It's okay with them. For me death can't come soon enough.
