Darn! I forgot to pay homage to the fiftieth anniversary of Earth Day. A couple of items. The 'day' was thought up by a radical out of Philly, Ira Einhorn. He claimed fame a few years later by murdering his girlfriend and composting her in a suitcase and keeping her remains in his closet.
Did you know there have been 41 end of times predictions from supposedly learned scientists over the years regarding the demise of this planet? I'm not including Al Gore in the mix. Anyway, of the 41 none of the predictions has yet to come to fruition. As Casey Stengel, former manager of the New York Yankees always said, "If you don't believe me you can look it up."
You might be interested in also knowing when it comes to ranking climate change as a major concern of the American people it ranks under 10%.
