Todays Supreme Court Vote

I watched the initial vote a few moments ago and my mind hearkened back to what my now deceased buddy told me. Russ Bowermaster was a friend of politicians, sports celebrities and of the rich and famous around the world.

He was also a friend to the common man so that's how we became dear friends. One bright sunny summer morning as we drank coffee on his back deck he said, "The very first thing a politician thinks about when their feet hit the floor in the morning is, "What can I do today to get re-elected"?

Some of the Democrat senators will vote for Kavanaugh. It's not that they want to do the righteous and just. They're trying to keep their job. But, you knew that.

Chuck Schumer threw Heidi Heitkamp to the wolves. She's a Democrat North Dakota senator who is going to lose her job after the upcoming November vote and she voted No. Schumer is hoping one of the other peons will change their minds and keep the final vote close. A good example of this: In Tennessee the vote between the Republican and Democrat candidates is very narrow. Who do you think the Democrat voted Yes. Gimme a break.

This isn't a vote for the Supreme Court. It's a vote for power.
