Melissa Francis graduated Harvard with a degree in economics. She did a number of television shows before getting into the news business. At present she is a contributor on Fox News.
Last night she was on the Tucker Carlson Show giving her views on Bernie and probably Lizzie Warren's Medicare for All plan.
Warren is aloof about who is going to pay for it but Francis gave some base numbers. For ten years Americans give the government $42 trillion in taxes. Medicare for all would cost $32 trillion. What Francis wondered, along with every other thinking person is, how would we come up with the cash to pay for every other program needed.
In this vein I gave thought to a campaign song for Trump in the 2020 election. My choice would be, 'Don't Rock The Boat, Don't Tip The Boat Over'. Pretty good, huh?
