A word to the wise. If you're planning on driving to or through Chicago on I-90 or I-94 avoid it like the plague. Thirty thousand teachers and seven thousand support staff are on strike. That isn't the problem. There will be 300,000 urchins roaming the highways and byways. This could create some serious problems.
There will be other ramifications. All high school sporting events will be canceled. I guess the kids will have to find other venues to shoot at each other.
