Incumbent Dan Lipinski(D) was defeated in yesterday's Illinois District 3 primary. The winner was Marie Newman. Newman is considered to be the newest member of The Squad. AOC was overjoyed with Newman's victory as it was revealed George Soros provided hundreds of thousands of dollars to defeat Lipinski. And what was the reason for the dislike against Lipinski. Well, he was pro-life.
There are now only two pro-life Democrats in the House after Ms. Newman's perceived Fall victory, Scott Peterson(Minn) and Henry Cuellar(Tex). What a pity.
