I Get To Take The Blame

For ten years Her Majesty and I spent the winter on the beautiful beaches of Destin, Florida. It's called the 'Redneck Riviera' due to the fact that it's populated in the winter months with midwesterners and, unlike properties of southern Florida rentals are reasonable in price.

The last winter we were there I was golfing. It was in February. The temperature was 31 degrees and snow flurries abound. I swore I would never again go to Destin. My error was I said this in front of my wife. Gentlemen, never say anything in front of the other half that might sound like an oath.

You see, I wasn't drunk when I said it. I was stone cold sober. And she took it to heart. I hate snow. I hate every thing about it. So, this morning I got out of bed and looked out the window. And then I got back into bed. I closed my eyes for a few minutes hoping when I opened then again the wrath of God would be gone.

Earth to MJ: It's still there.
