The great Hall of Fame baseball player for the Detroit Tigers, Al Kaline, refused to take a salary of more than $100,000 per year. His reasoning was it someone shouldn't receive an exhoribant amount of money for playing a game.
Oh, how times have changed. I looked at this list of salaries and was shocked. Furthermore, except fot two of these fellas I'd never hear of the others.
