It's Wonderful Being An Iowan
Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds (R) signed the “vaccine mandate exemption bill” into law on Friday that allows constituents to seek medical and religious exemptions from COVID-19 vaccine mandates. The law also guarantees unemployment benefits for those who are fired for refusing to get the vaccine. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/10/iowa-governor-kim-reynolds-signs-law-allowing-workers-seek-medical-religious-exemptions-covid-19-vaccine-mandate/

On Veecation
Did I get your attention with the title of this blog? That's good. Veecation is the pronunciation for what the rest of the world calls fun and frivolity. Our dear friends in northern Minnesota speak this way. I try not to laugh openly.
As I mentioned yesterday I'm taking time off to watch the Iowa State Cyclones play the Mountaineers of West Virginia. I need to apologize to the nice folks in the state east of Ohio. Once in awhile I'll make fun of them but it's all in jest. The are very fine people and I know they have pride in their state when they emphasize it's history by saying West 'By God' Virginia. Some of you may not know this but WV was carved out of the state of Virginia by Abe Lincoln. These folks were not a slave state and thus joined the North in the great conflict. And what law did Lincoln invoke to create the state. None. He just flat out did it. Sort of like the way Bidumb does today.
In conclusion, and this happens every once in awhile on this blog: I usually average around 500 page views daily but the last week it has jumped up to 10,000. I wish I knew the reason for this. My old format for this blog told me who my viewers were by country. Not any more. It's only a guess. The big question for me was when I looked at my viewers in the old days I'd find readers from Pakistan. Go figure.
I'll be back on Monday if not sooner. Go Cyclones!

"Hey, It's Your Money"
The Biden Administration is currently working to pay out hundreds of millions of dollars to illegal alien families that were ‘separated’ at the border in 2018 due to President Trump’s ‘remain in Mexico’ policy.
The Biden Regime will pay $450,000 per illegal alien affected by Trump’s policy, according to The Wall Street Journal. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/10/biden-regime-pay-hundreds-millions-illegal-alien-families-separated-border-2018-450000-per-illegal-alien/
Down With Petroleum
Think back to the first few days of the Bidumb administration. One of his first executive orders was to shut down the Keystone Pipeline and in an instant 11,000 workers lost their jobs. In addition, employees with associated industries were also forcibly fired. That number adds of to 50,000 jobs.

When Your Kids Teacher Takes Them To A Gay Bar
A Florida elementary school is under fire after taking grade-school kids on a field trip to a gay bar - one that offers sexual pun-laden menu items such as Rhoda Cowboy and Ivana Hooker.
Broward County school board member Sarah Leonardi shared photos to social media of a group of children from Wilton Manors Elementary School at Rosie's Bar and Grill, a famed LGBT hangout.
'I was SO honored to be invited to chaperone Wilton Manors Elementary's field trip to the incredible Rosie's! The students and I had a fun walk over and learned a lot about our community! A huge thank you to Rosie's Bar and Grill for hosting this special field trip every year!' Leonardi posted to Twitter and Facebook on Thursday. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10141223/Florida-elementary-school-kids-pictured-field-trip-gay-bar-sparks-outrage.html
It's A Bunch Of Bulls*%$
If you don't happen to be a fan of baseball you might not be aware that there are relief pitchers who come into a game when a starter on the mound cannot go the distance.
These relievers are placed in an area, usually beyond the outfield wall, and it's called the bullpen.
Enter PETA on this World Series stage. They are demanding the term 'bull pen' be changed to the 'arm barn'. Actually, I thought this is quite clever. On the other hand it ain't gonna happen.

Pelosi's Gulag
If you've been watching the news our Democrat enemies have been touting a new plan for those who are charged with crimes; cashless bail. There are others, many more, who have been imprisoned for doing no more than to walk peacefully through the Capitol building on January 6. They are still being incarcerated with no end to the ordeal in site.
Nathaniel DeGrave, a non violent prisoner who walked into the open doors of the Capitol to document the event for a podcast, composed a letter to the American public pleading for help.
Dear Fellow Americans –
I never thought I’d write a letter like this, but we’re living in very different times. This is my cry for help.
My name is Nathan DeGrave, and as a non violent participant at the Jan 6th rally, I’ve spent the last 9 months detained as a political prisoner in pod C2B at the DC DOC…otherwise known as DC’s Gitmo.
The conditions here for Jan 6ers have been inhumane. In fact, some inmates are even begging to be transferred to GUANTANAMO BAY, where even THEY have more acceptable standards.
Class action LAWSUITS are being filed against this prison; and even the ACLU has gotten involved. Senators Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene have since attempted to gain access to this facility and inspect the conditions of the jail, only to be denied. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/10/gut-wrenching-plea-help-january-6th-detainees-tell-letter-american-public-dc-gitmo-please-help-innocent-man/

Check Out This Old Frog
A Few Items To Ponder
Surprise to me. I did not know the Winter Olympics begin in 100 days. Do you know where they'll be held? If you said China pour yourself another beer. Does it seem strange that the country bringing on the worst pandemic in 100 years will be punished by making billions of dollars.
Charlie and I were out at 6 pm tonight. I had the car radio tuned to the Charlie Kirk Show. He played part of an interview from an FDA doctor regarding the go ahead for kids from 5-11 to receive a couple doses of poison. Don't laugh. This doctor stated, "
“We’re Never Going to Learn About How Safe This Vaccine Is Unless We Start Giving It, That’s Just The Way It Goes”…
Both Charlie and I swallowed our gum.
I'm not making up these statistics but the FDA has said that the chances of kids dying from Covid is between 0.00 and 0.03%. Ladies and gentleman, there are going to be many, many young people who are going to die or suffer long range problems in life. The most feared effect is enlarging of the heart. If you don't believe me, as Casey Stengel said, "You can look it up."
If I were a breakfast meal I'd be a waffle. Iowa State plays at West Virginia in football this upcoming Saturday. I haven't watched the Cyclones play in person in over ten years. Even though I'm older than dirt I'd like to view in person quarterback Brock Purdy. He's a senior out of Scottsdale, Arizona. Brock has broken every QB record in Iowa State's history. Granted, there were some lean years like from 1895 to 2014 with a couple of wins scattered in. Purdy is the kind of kid every parent would want for a son. I don't believe he's ever said a word harsher than dang. Also in the backfield is a youngster, name of Breece Hall. Last year, as a sophomore, he was named All-American first team by every organization that does the picking which is somewhere in the area of seven.
Getting back to my breakfast name: It's a three hour drive to the land of people who wear no shoes and sport one tooth. The weather forecast calls for enough rain to fill the Queen Mary. I'm sort of a sissy boy and don't know if viewing the game is worth it. If I was assured I could sit with the cheerleaders, the feminine type, it wouldn't be a problem. As I foresee it with my luck I'll be pIaced between two young punks who started drinking at 2 am. I go back and forth on this issue hourly. Yep, I'm a waffler. Pass the syrup, please.
I read a pseudo-science article today and it made me feel good in an ugly sort of way. It stated people with too many fat cells don't think and reason as well as those who don't have them. I only read the heading but only for the reason that what kind of dufus came up with topic and why would anyone aside from Mad Magazine publish it?
I'll Have To Boycott Twix Candy
Why is everything, seemingly about social justice. I've eaten Twix bars before. They're tasty. But I don't want to watch a commercial that makes me want to puke it back up. https://twitter.com/i/status/1453225912015724549

Blame It On Moonshine
Hazard Kentucky is located in the very southeastern part of the state nestled in the Applachian Mountains. I visited that area one time as a salesman---only one time. There wasn't much to do in the town of 5,000 but teachers and students at the local high school have given it fame never before realized.
During Hazard High School's homecoming week festivities, students and staff took part in a "Man Pageant" and "Costume Day."
Photos that were since taken down from the athletics department's Facebook page showed students giving lap dances to faculty and staff, including the high school's principal, Donald "Happy" Mobelini, who is also mayor of the Perry County city.
Other photos on the athletics page that were later taken down showed female students dressed up in "Hooters" outfits as well as students and staff appearing to paddle one another."
This story angers me greatly considering I was a secondary school teacher for 20 years. I mean, why didn't this ever happen when I was around. At one school we had a teacher/student volleyball game during homecoming and Miss Flatt wore sprayed on shorts so skimpy after the game was over we all asked, who won? Who was on each team? Did you see those shorts, we asked. In a Catholic school no less. I wonder whatever happened to Flatt. I think I heard she became a nun.
Fun Fact Of The Day
More than 100 members of Congress and their staff members have been treated for Covid-19 with Ivermectin, a physician reported.
Dr. Pierre Kory, President and Chief Medical Officer of the Front-Line Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance, tweeted on Oct. 7:
Who Would Have Thought----
Who would have thought 18 months ago we would have gone from 'wear a mask for three weeks to flatten the curve' to where we are today? People are losing their jobs over a refusal to have themselves vaccinated. In some areas folks are being thrown in jail for congregating in churches.
We are about to force our children by public sentiment and humiliation, who are by 0.03% given a chance to die from a vaccine. There has been no study on the benefits or otherwise of jabbing kids.

Some Things Want To Survive More Than Others
The will to win is a very unique aspect of life. I watched this short video and thought, "I want this guy on my team."
The Rich And Famous
I don't know about you but there is very little that shocks me anymore but------------
Yesterday, October 25, 2021 Elon Musk made for himself in one day $37 billion dollars.
Question Of The Day
I'm flummoxed. There are up to 3,000 men, women and children, mostly paupers, going to our southern border and I'm sure they'll be allowed to enter the country.
Call me naive but how can these folks walk 2,500 miles to reach their destination. Heck, I have difficulty walking my dog in the morning and these migrants are traversing the length of the United States, east to west, minus 500 miles.
It Sucks To Be White
Woke is too kind a word for this story because Scientific American now approves of discrimination based on race and sex.
A great story fell into the publication's lap. The American Geophysical Union refused to award a prize for excellence in science because all five candidates were white males. https://donsurber.blogspot.com/2021/10/no-prize-awarded-because-nominees-were.html
It's A House Of Horrors
Another shocking report by the White Coat Waste Project has uncovered how the Fauci-led National Institutes of Health (NIH) has spent millions in taxpayer funds on despicable experiments where researchers would “cripple monkeys with toxic brain injections” through implanted devices in their skull.
- Locking the monkeys alone in small cages.
- Drilling holes into the monkey’s skulls.
- Implanting head restraining devices.
- Implanting electrodes into the monkey’s brains.
- Injecting toxins that destroy the monkey’s brains, causing them to lose control of their limbs, mouths, and other body parts. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/10/faucis-house-horrors-nih-spent-16-million-taxpayer-funds-disturbing-toxic-brain-injection-experiments-monkeys-drilled-holes-skulls-implanted-devices-brain/

The Poor Guy Lives In Zombieland
Joe Biden on Monday promoted his “Build Back Better” agenda at the NJ Transit Meadowlands Maintenance Complex in Newark, New Jersey.
Biden once again told the debunked story about the Amtrak worker Angelo Negri who used to grab his cheek and shout, “Joey Babbbyyyyy!”
This is one of Biden’s favorite lies.
Biden claims he used to take the train to see his dying mother during his “fourth or fifth year as Vice President” when the Amtrak conductor pointed out that Biden had traveled 1.3 million miles on AF2 and 1.5 million miles on that train.
Joe Biden’s mom died in 2010 and the Amtrak conductor, Angelo retired in 1993 – 22 years before Joe Biden hit 1 million miles on AF2.
This is the fifth time Joe Biden has told this thoroughly debunked story.
I was shocked he didn't mention his first wife and daughter being killed in a car wreck that he blamed on the guy who tried to save them by saying "he had drank his lunch."
What You Have To Do When Your Butt Is In A Bind
The National School Boards Association finally sent a letter to its members Friday apologizing for its infamous letter sent to the Biden administration last month in which it called for action against protesting parents it labeled “domestic terrorists.” That letter was used by the Biden administration to justify Attorney General Merrick Garland’s creation of an FBI task force supposedly designed to address violent threats made against school officials.
Does it seem to you like people apologize when they get caught with their hand in the cookie jar? https://patriotpost.us/articles/83697-nsba-apologizes-for-domestic-terrorist-parents-letter-2021-10-25
This 'N That From Dublin Ohio
It's that time of year when the sun goes down at 6:30. If it wasn't for the lock downs in Australia it'd be a fun place to visit. With little to do today Charlie and I did a great deal of driving. He's a trip in the car; jumps in back and wants the window rolled down then moves to the front passenger seat and scratches at the window until I press the down button. I've also noticed that when we enter certain areas he's at the window. For instance, as we cross the Scioto River a block west of the Columbus Zoo he anticipates looking outside.
I've learned to expect his routines. I know his special spots to defecate. When I'm in a hurry I'll immediately search them out.
Anyway, my Suburu was begging for a wash. There's a Bluewater Car Wash on north Sawmill Road. I pulled in, put my Visa in the slot and headed for the entrance. It was then I noticed a sign reading: Jobs, $16 an hour. Wow! A kid is at the entrance waiting on me and he's making enough money in a day to feed and clothes himself. In my first teaching job in !968 my daily salary was an Andrew Jackson. My first job in high school was at a Dairy Queen. I made fifty cents an hour. It's true. I'm old. Regardless, I received an email last evening from an employment agency in the Columbus area. There were five pages of employment opportunities. A couple were Fed Ex jobs at $20 to $40 an hour. One of them was for working at home. The pay? Try $16 an hour. The big question is, what the hell and I doing blogging when I could be making some cash? The moral of the story is------------if the government wants total control of its people give them more money to stay home than work.
Here's some good news for old guys. The Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Murders & Mysteries have begin non stop Christmas themed stories. Thank the Lord for Taylor Cole, Lacey Chabert, Eloise Mumford, Nikki DeLoach Candace Cameron Bure', Jill Wagner and many, many more beauties. They give off good vibes.
Question of the day for a Big 10 fan: How in the name of Amos Alonzo Stagg did the Univ. of Illinois defeat Penn State? There must be something to the old, they did it with mirrors thingy.
I hope it doesn't rain Saturday in Morgantown, West Virginia. As an old-timer weather conditions have to be near perfect for me to sit in a football stadium for three hours. The Iowa State Cyclones play in the 'Gooberville and I might drive the three hours---------or not. Back in 1988 when I started my sales job I told my boss I was going to the mines in WV. He asked me to tell him if they wore shoes. Did you know the toothpick was invented in the Mountaineer state? In every other place it's called a teethpick except for Kentucky. The Hatfields and McCoys still exist.
I did it again; lost another hearing aid. Don't ask where. If aid manufacturers were smart they'd engrave the phone number of the buyer on it. Silly me. They count of morons like me to keep them in business. The truth is I can survive on one; sort of. Besides, if Her Majesty asks me to do chores I can feign total hearing loss. After 52 years I've learned to think on my feet.
Where's PETA
PETA is another example of radical groups who don't step up when animal abuse is happening. Oh, they'll raise bloody hell when an elephant in the circus is paraded around in a circle but where are they when it comes to Fauci funding the transfer of organs of aborted babies into rats https://thefederalist.com/2021/10/13/heres-what-we-know-about-pitts-potentially-criminal-fetal-experimentation-practices/ and is done at the Univ. of Pittsburgh medical center, or pouring flesh eating bugs over the heads of dogs?
There are tens of millions to over 100 million animals experimented on each year and most of them are paid for with taxpayer money. This is over the course of decades.
The White Coat Waste Project, a non-profit that advocates against federal animal testing, says that more than 1,100 dogs are experimented on in federal labs annually.
The experiments have a 90% failure rate. https://www.independentsentinel.com/us-funds-pouring-acid-into-monkeys-brains-then-terrorizing-them/
It Brings Back Memories Of My Teaching Days
