Ay Carumba Tijuana

Tijuana Mexico is the 3rd largest city in that country and located across the border for San Diego, California. Tijuana has around 1,600,000 upstanding citizens, I think. News reports today say 171 people were murdered in the month of April. Wowie! This is 50% more than that of Chicago with a much larger population. There were 680 murders in 2018. There must be something in the water.

Some People Will Do Anything To Get A's

A university graduate, 25, has revealed she is to marry her former professor, 71, after seven months of dating.
Cameron Platt, who recently graduated with a masters degree from Oxford University, announced she is engaged to Lee Clark Mitchell – who is a professor in English.
The couple – who have a 46-year age gap – met when Cameron took one of Lee’s classes as an undergraduate at Princeton University in the United States five years ago.

People Are Honest. Well, Some Of Them Are.

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. — Police in Michigan are appealing to people to surrender their instant riches after a box with $30,000 fell off the back of a truck.
Authorities in Grand Haven say drivers stopped Thursday to pick up cash for themselves.
Only $2,500 was immediately recovered and returned to the owner, who had forgotten that a cash box was on the truck’s bumper. Traffic was backed up on U.S. 31 after money hit the ground.
But by Saturday, more money was trickling in. The Department of Public Safety says two teenagers turned in $630, and a woman gave up nearly $3,900.

When War Movies Were Fun

It's a lazy Saturday afternoon. The Queen is in Kansas City for The First  Communion of our granddaughter. It's just Charlie and me .

I flipped on the television and saw a film titled: The Dirty Dozen; The Deadly Mission. No, it's not the regular dirty dozen but one that came after. I love war movies made before the 1970's. Guys would get shot, even Germans and Japs, and there would be no blood. A soldier would get his throat slit and the camera cut away. Cool, huh?

I wish they made those kind again.

If You're Going To Lie Make It A Whopper

Ol' Joe went on The View yesterday. It was a great performance. But, hey, he was talking to Joy Behar who who believe whatever Biden told her.

He said there was not one whiff of scandal when he was in the Obama administration. As George Costanza said, "If you tell a lie long enough you'll begin to believe it"

Try these on for size, Mr. Biden:

Operation Fast and Furious. Sending the IRS after conservative groups. Sending the DOJ after reporters. Benghazi. Solyndra. Bowe Bergdahl and the Taliban Five. "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor." Palettes of cash to Iran. Standing idly by while Russia meddled in the 2016 election, and then blaming it on Trump. Anything you'd call a scandal, none of it actually happened during the Obama administration.

How New York City Is Banning Climate Change

New York City’s new law will ban hot dogs to help with climate change.

Mayor Bill de Blasio just signed into law New York City’s version of the “Green New Deal.”
Part of the law requires New York City officials to teach New Yorkers how to make healthy, environmentally conscious food choices by banning “problematic” items such as hot dogs from city menus.

Fodder For Fools

It's hard to believe but the Democrat candidates for president are still hanging their collective caps on doomsday climate change predictions.

Jumping back in time at the first Earth Day in 1970 we were told:

  • End of civilization in 15-30 years
  • 100-200 million deaths to starvation yearly for 10 years
  • A new ice age by 2000

Sixteen years ago, his eminence, Albert Gore Jr. stated the following:

1. Rising Sea Levels – inaccurate and misleading. Al was even discovered
purchasing a beachfront mansion!

2. Increased Tornadoes – declining for decades.

3. New Ice Age in Europe – they’ve been spared; it never happened.

4. South Sahara Drying Up – completely untrue.

5. Massive Flooding in China and India – again didn’t happen.

6. Melting Arctic – false – 2015 represents the largest refreezing in years.

7. Polar Bear Extinction – actually they are increasing!

8. Temperature Increases Due to CO2 – no significant rising for over 18 years.
(Actually, and I posted an article a month ago, there has been no rise in 3 million years)
9. Katrina a Foreshadow of the Future – false – past 10 years, no F3 hurricanes; “longest drought ever!”

10. The Earth Would be in a “True Planetary Emergency” Within a Decade Unless Drastic Action Taken to Reduce Greenhouse Gasses – never happened.

Except for those lefty wackos and kids from 13 to 25 does anyone buy this nonsense. It's so comical.

The Government Did Build That

Yesterday I mentioned how a certain president once said, "You didn't build that" in reference to entrepreneurs creating products without government interference.

Today, The Tesla has sucked out of the pockets of the taxpayer one billion dollars with no hope for success in sight.

So much for this bogus claim of the need for the government in capitalism.

Hillary's Flirtation With Karma

Why Are Americans The Way They Are?

  • Americans among the most stressed in the world
  • Nearly half (45%) felt worried a lot
  • More than one in five (22%) felt angry a lot

  • WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Even as their economy roared, more Americans were stressed, angry and worried last year than they have been at most points during the past decade. Asked about their feelings the previous day, the majority of Americans (55%) in 2018 said they had experienced stress during a lot of the day, nearly half (45%) said they felt worried a lot and more than one in five (22%) said they felt anger a lot.

Why would this be the case? According to Gallup people in the U.S. are a mental mess.

Could it possible be people have throw God in the dumpster? Just askin'.

Taking Birth Control To The Extreme

An Illinois lawmaker responsible for a revolting disgusting suggestion believes castrating men would solve the problem of abortion.
Rep. Dianne Pappas, a Democrat from Itasca, made the suggestion not once, but twice, in recent meetings.
