In the upcoming year over 3,400 schools of lower learning are going to begin teaching the history of the US is based on what is called The 1619 Project.
In essence, it says everything that has occurred in the Uunited States since the the time of the establishment of Jamestown is because of slavery.
Our successes and failures are due to slavery. This theory was promolgated by a writer at the New York Times.
One item the Project is missing is the landing of the Mayflower in 1620. The colony was based on the establishment of freedom of religion. Slavery was considered a sin.
So, if you have a child or grandchild in public schools of any kind do not be surprised when they come home and tell you reparations are needed and that if you don't adhere to their way of thinking you are a racist.
