I received an obit notice from the Council Bluffs Cowboy in regard to one of his classmates who passed away. Yes, the fella was 80 and had had recent health problems. One item my buddy told me was that he'd taken the COVID vaccine three days prior. It's probably a coincidence but it did give me pause.
It seems the course of conversation I've had recently is, "Are you going to get the shot"? "We're getting our first one tomorrow". "Why aren't you getting the shot?" It's almost, and I'm probably making this up, they're saying, "You're a damned fool if you don't."
Anyway, the Cowboy sent along a news source, The UK Guardian; not exactly a right wing news source suggesting people ask themselves five questions before taking the needle.
It was titled: '5 questions to ask yourself before you get vaccinated'. "Hey, it's food for thought" and isn't it good to ask questions rather than go with the flow?"
In no paticular order:
1) We have never successfully vaccinated against any Virus.
2) It takes five to ten years to fully develop a vaccine.
3)The COVID vaccine is based on new technology which has never been approved for us on humans before.
4) The pharmaceutial companies cannot be sued it the vaccine hurts or kills someone.
5) 99.8% of the people survive COVID 19.
