There are racist statements and then there are big time racist statements. Our Columbus Dispatch, every Sunday, fans the flames of hatred with a stories about crime, harrassment, injustice, white privilege, etc. aimed at our Black citizens. I have to wonder how many people read these stories then rush out and throw a rock through a car window or worse. Things of this nature only escalate.
There's a story coming out of the Super Bowl from a Kansas City player, Tyrann Mathieu, that Tom Brady was making racist remarks toward the Chiefs defensive back during the game. Of course, the press has given this big time ink. Tom Brady: Trump supporter, married to a former model, six-time Super Bowl winner. Hey, let's take the guy down.
Mathieu, as we now know, was hurling insults and taunts at Brady during the game and Brady was firing back. It's the nature of the game. One would think Tyrann would have kept his mouth shut especially after he was torched twice for giving up touchdowns.
As for Brady's racist taunts Tyrann should have asked Brady before the game if he was wearing a hot mic. He didn't and, yes, Brady was. So much for the racial taunts B.S. The mic had nothing on it.
I repeat. how many of our Black citizens were so incensed at Brady's supposed racial taunts that weren't and then went out and did something stupid and illegal? We'll never know will we?
