Today is Earth Day. I'm almost ashamed of myself for not remembering. If you didn't know the day began with the governor of Wisconsin in the 1970's.
In order to recall this event I'll never dismiss the words of Al Gore, "The earth has a fever." He then jumped into his private jet and flew to one of his mansions.
I'm thinking as many people think of Earth Day as often they consider the day James Garfield was assassinated but that's just me.
