Did you know that yesterday was designated as National Dog Day? I did but due to other world situations I wanted to wait until today to give my pal, Charlie, his just due.
He's two years older than when he was adopted at age six and I've noticed him slowing down somewhat. Only when he's upstairs in bed and the refrigerator door opens does he spring into action. He doesn't sprint much anymore. He loves to do what MJH does; lie on the couch with eyes either open or shut.
Chaz came into our lives at the right time. He's helped make the last two pitiful years more satisfying. God had a plan and it's working.
