The word is out. The ship backlog is going to take longer to get solved than originally thought. I'm lucky because in being a septugenarian and I don't need items as do the younger generations. For instance, the Queen and I don't exchange Christmas gifts which means I don't receive as much as a candy cane because no one else buys me anything. Does this bother me? No, If I want something I can go out and buy it myself without having to worry if it fits or looks ugly. I'm prone to enjoying the little things in life. Starting my day with coffee is nice. The weather is changing now that it's mid-October. I enjoy wearing socks to keep my tootsies warm when Charlie needs to go out. Oh yeah, I also get a kick out of toilet paper.
I could go on and on but you get the picture. Last night we, the people, got the word we'll need to suffer not having certain items for awhile. Let's see how the younger generations are able to handle not having the niceties of life and all other products they're used to. I seriously doubt this wil cause many to swallow the gun since it's not quite like what people went through during The Great Depression.
