Do you celebrate Columbus Day? Naw, I never did, either. I did honor his legacy, however, by not going to school or walking to the corner to get the mail. Other than that it's another ordinary day; sort of like National Dog Day.
I only blogged on Columbus, a truly great man, who never did step foot on the mainland of the our nation because I was hoping a liberal happened onto this site. If so, I hope their heads exploded.
If people did a modicum of research on Native Indians they might have an idea as to how and why this idea of the peaceful Indigenous are being used as a tool. American Indians were savages and living in the Stone Age in the late 1900's. They owned slaves, too.
The Aztecs have been presented as a group who led the way in intellectual thought. Hah!
