The Queen and I enjoyed a movie called That Thing That You Do starring Tom Hanks and a cast of, at the time, no name guys. It told the story of four young men who had formed their own band and rose to fleeting fame. One of the characters when he was in that positive and invincible state of mind would say out loud, "I am Spartacus."
Today, MJ Hawkeye is Spartacus. My results from a blood test taken in my doctor's office came to the house and it read in so many words that sometime in the last 18 months I have had Covid. This is good news because now when I tell people they might say, "Oh, you poor man" or "Did you suffer much.?" The answer is, "I no." and that will be the end of the subject. Of course, there will be some who say, "Yeah, but what about the other variants?". This is because some folks aren't happy unless they can piss on your birthday cake.
Let's face it, people get sick over the course of 540 days from sniffles to colds to hangovers. Actually, I feel sort of cheated because I didn't know about acquiring the Fauci disease. In February of 2020 I had one of those hard coughs and it only came out at night so I had to sleep sitting up. In July of this year I was bed ridden for three days with something called extreme tiredness. That's it. I figure if a guy gets Covid he should have to cough up blood along with his pancreas and liver. Not this kid, though.
Don't get me wrong. I know there are thousands up thousands who have sucummed in these times either from Covid or with Covid and I feel badly for their families.
But, in my case, I seem to have had what I've thought all along. This bug is a cold or the flu or some other disease the government doesn't really want us to know about.
The sad aspect of now knowing I cannot inflict germs onto others is the government doesn't count my natural immunity even though I can never get the sickness again nor can I pass it on to others.
