The city of New York is considering removing the statue of one of the most brilliant men who ever walked the face of the earth. He was 26 years old when he authored the Declaration of Independence and his name is Thomas Jefferson. I'm in awe of what this man accomplished. He was all things; an agriculturist, inventor, president and these are only a few of his accomplishments. Oh, I supposed the nitwits could complain because he fathered a child via one of his slaves, Sally Hemmings, but that's another story.
Today we have another guy who couldn't author a Declaration if he was looking at Jeffersons'. Do you ever consider the people in our past history who were our political leaders? There were solid Democrats and Republicans. We now have as our 'go to' people folks like Alexandrio Ocasio-Cortes and a bumbling boob named Pete Buttigieg. God help us all.
