Yeah, I Remember When I Was On Paternity Leave

I'm trying to recal the post obligations of caring for my three children after their mother gave birth. I mean, the first one popped out 50 years ago followed by #2 a year later and #3 four years after that.

Times were different then because parents didn't have what's called maternity leave. There were grandparents and neighbors to help out and many did this with joy.

The reason I bring this up is because we have a Secretary of Transportation whose credentials are that he once rode in a bus when he was the mayor of South Bend, Indiana. His name is Pete Buttigieg and also known as Alfred E. Nueman's younger brother.

My suspicion is that Pete got the job because he was running for president in 2020 and dropped out paving the way for Jughead to have less competition.

Everyone is familiar with the problems we are having with ships from foreign countries not being able to unload their products for Amerrican consumption. Petey has been in the witness protection program lately. Actually he's been in this program SINCE AUGUST because his gay wife and he adopted already birthed twins.

He's been on paternity leave. It boggles my mind. When my kids were born I was grateful when that day was a weekday so I could have a day off from teaching.  And the beauty of it is he and Mrs. He get all the benefits of not having to breast feed and the Mrs. never had to worry about afterbirth.

You can't make this stuff up.
