Anyone born in the 1950's and before understand the Castro regime and how they went from a democracy(sometimes corrupt) to the killer one of the communists. I've know a number of people who escaped from that hell hole; former students and neighbors. They were so relieved to be in the 'land of the free and home of the brave.
For some reason the Biden government abhors Cuban refugees to this country. Could it be that these people are more prone to vote against Democrats? Just a guess on my part.
The U.S. Coast Guard has returned 1,019 Cuban refugees caught at sea to the communist country in 2021, agents of the Cuban regime said this week – up from just 49 in fiscal year 2020.
Everything is political in this day and age. Know what? I've never heard of Cubans transporting illegal drugs or MS type gang members. The only time I know of criminals coming to this land from Cuba was during the Carter administration. He called it the 'Freedom Flotilla' allowing thousands to come in. Of course, Castro had Carter by the balls. He opened up the jails and insane asylums so he could get rid of the worst. Carter and Biden; what a pair.
