My very best friend in the entire area of Columbus Ohio is a tremendous Christian man but when it comes to world affairs he is without great knowledge. But, if he's talking about the NBA or me about the benefits of sleeping in late in the morning we're experts in our own right. However, my buddy is virtually clueless when it comes to world affairs. When a subject of this nature is broached he'll chime in with an opinion but it's based on little or no credible information. It'd be like me talking about any aspect of the National Basketball Association which means my thoughts would be worthless. I stopped watching that sport when Larry Bird retired. I do know its aligned with communist China and that, in itself, is enough for me to back off.
One day my buddy and I were talking about the Ukraine. He was telling me how important it was for the U.S to get involved in their war. I knew this conversation was going nowhere because my pal wouldn't know the location of that country if I pointed it out to him on a map but I let him blather on until I had to call a halt. Without being too condescending for the sake of our friendship I thought it best if I shut my pie hole.
You see, I'm a person who is adamantly against the billions of dollars we're providing to that country even though the people have my sympathies. The leader of the Ukraine has done a marvelous job of grabbing US dollars and the beauty of it is we don't know where this cash is going. We give them money and hope it's being used for a good cause other than buying off oligarchs so they can spend the monies on vacations to the Mediterranean Sea. I'm that kind of a skeptical guy when it comes to my tax dollars. Did you know the United States is about to provide Patriot missiles to the Ukraine in their fight against Putin? It's true. Furthermore, these missiles are so sophisticated they have to be manned by U.S. soldiers so this means our country will be directly involved in a war. Many of our politicians, Republican and Communist alike, are giving their 'thumbs up' for this action. It's easy for them to say because they have access to underground bunkers in the event of rockets come raining down on this nation.
Time will only tell what happens in this conflict but there's another war, of sorts, going on in the world and it is receiving virtually no attention. Lord knows I was clueless until I accidentally stumbled across it. I'm referring to a civil war in the country of Nigeria. What? You've never heard of that country? I'm guessing there are millions of people in the United States who are clueless as to its location. First, think Africa. Then find a picture of that continent and think of it as a gun. Look to where you'd place your trigger finger and that's Nigeria, population 225 million souls. It's the largest nation in population in Africa. I bet all you racists were unaware of where it is. I know I was. I never think about Nigeria primarily because our media doesn't emphasize it in any form.
You see, Nigeria is and has been having a civil war for quite some time but it's the type of war the media doesn't want to expose. Last year, in that country, their very large Muslim population murdered nearly 4,650 Christians------they killed 'em dead and only for the reason that they wanted to practice their Christian faith. In comparison there were slightly under 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers who died in their conflict last year the difference being they had guns while the Nigerians were carrying Bibles. It doesn't seem fair but we all know life isn't fair.
For some inexplicable reason the Biden administration has removed Nigeria from a Christian watch list meaning they don't give a flying crap as to what happens to these people who only want to practice their religion in peace. https://stopkillingchristians.com/ and so the killing will go on and on and on.
I've decided I have one job for the day: get ahold my buddy, who happens to be Black, and clue him in on Nigeria. It's a task God wants me to perform with due diligence.
Personally, I don't know the why for our love of the Ukraine. From Putin's standpoint he wanted to make certain that country didn't join NATO. All Biden had to do to stop the killing was to let the Ruskies know they wouldn't be invited UNLESS and this is when my conspiracy theories kick in, could it be possible the leader of the Ukraine knows he has the entire Biden family by the scrotum because of their corrupt activities in that nation? Time will only tell.
