If anything gets our minds off world affairs no one does it better than those in the world of sports. I mean, who thought Cornhole would be shown on ESPN. The other day I read about a new start up league called Granny Basketball. Yep, basketball for women over the age of sixty.
A buddy of mine from Iowa sent me info on the teams that are sprouting up all over the Hawkeye state and this is as it should be since Texas and Iowa were the birth places of girls basketball.
