Why Is The NRA The Scapegoat

I've written one blog on the NRA in the past. I am not, my any stretch of the imagination, knowledgeable on the subject of firearms so take this piece for what it's worth.

To the small amount of information I've garnered over the years I always thought the NRA promoted gun safety for our youth. I thought they taught how to conserve and preserve the land and wildlife for better use. Evidently I'm wrong.

I once sent the NRA $25 just for they hey of it. In return I received a really cool camo bag with the letters NRA written on the side. If I'm traveling I put my CPAP machine inside. It fits perfectly.

Yesterday the San Francisco Board of Supervisors deemed the NRA to be a terrorist group. It is not known if any of the homeless who poop on the streets are NRA members.

For the life of me I can't figure out why the NRA is the enemy of the Left. They receive zero government tax money as opposed to Planned Parenthood. Their members, though there have been a couple of cases over the years, do not take their weapons out and randomly shoot innocent people.

I saw some numbers recently about gun deaths. Out of the 30,000 last year(20,000 by suicide), around 200 were done with rifles, AR-15's etc.

The goofball in Odessa was NOT an NRA member. The local authorities, according to the UK Daily Mail, were called to his home for threatening neighbors a month prior to his attacks but the authorities, if you can believe this, couldn't locate his home on their GPS so they let it go.

Another neighbor called the police the day before fearing for her safety. No response from the law.

So, who should be the scapegoat in this ridiculous scenario? When you can't credibly blame someone why not blame the most vulnerable. Isn't that what Hitler did during WWII?
