Whenever there's a crisis of some type we, Americans, can count on all of us banding together. It's sad that we're bombarded on social media with so much hate. Actually, it's not as bad as we think.
There were two situations that occurred in the Columbus, Ohio area this past week in response to COVID-19 and they are heart warming.
There's a sports bar in Columbus called Coaches Bar&Grille. Our governor announced that all restaurants and bars would be shut down. An hour before his announcement went into effect a customer at Coaches paid his $20 bill and then gave $2500 to the five servers as a tip. I may have to check this place out sometime.
My wife gets her hair done at a parlor in Dublin. The lady who owns it was very worried about her sixty employees and what would happen to them in the next two weeks. To help alleviate financial distress she paid ahead two weeks salary for her employees.
I know, people being people, that these two instances are happening all over the country.
I thought you'd like to know.
