A few days ago I emailed friends wondering their take on why the number of Italian deaths. After a bit of research I may have come up with answers. In addition, my thoughts were verified by the brilliant Hugh Hewitt, conservative radio talk host and scholar.
Italy has the most dense population of any European country. Add to this the fact that most of these folks live in apartments.
Furthermore, the Italians have more elderly than any European country and last but not least, the Italian people are #1 in cigarette consumption.
This seems like a recipe for disaster to me.
