Ella French Grossly Disrespected

• Ella French was shot and killed in the line of duty while performing a traffic stop 
• Since then,  Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot called her 'Ella Franks' and the city's top cop David Brown called her 'Ella Fitzgerald' twice 
• On Saturday, her body was taken via ambulance from the hospital where she was pronounced dead by the medical examiner's office
• Her comrades wanted to line the route and give her a bagpipe honor guard procession 
• The commanding officer ordered the ambulance carrying her not to stop 
• He said 'we don't have 20 minutes for this s**t' and told them to keep going
• Cops at the hospital where French's wounded partner was being treated then turned their backs on Mayor Lori Lightfoot 
• Lightfoot supported defund the police movements last summer despite Chicago's soaring crime rates
• On Wednesday, Lightfoot doubled down on the decision not to stop the ambulance carrying French's body 
• She says it would have delayed French's family in getting to the morgue
