Here's Another Fine Mess He's Gotten Us Into(Apologies To Oliver Hardy)



Murray Kessler, the CEO of baby formula producer Perrigo, said that he expects the shortages to last the rest of this year, despite Biden saying he hopes it will be resolved within weeks. Nationwide, the shortages are now at 43 percent, with states like Tennessee, Delaware and Texas reporting shortages of over 50 percent. The crisis brewed during the pandemic, and by August shortages were at 10 percent nationwide. The Wall Street Journal warned of a looming problem in February, and the White House's own National Economic Council in February, and yet Joe Biden said that you would have had to have been a 'mind reader' to see it coming.
