I am such a stupid schmuck. For twenty years I toiled as a high school teacher and coach. In 1988 I moved onto greener pastures in sales. As a teacher coach money wasn't a biggie on my list. The highest salary I ever achieved was $28, 400. We didn't starve but, then again, for vacations I could only afford to take the family to a county park outside of Davenport, iowa.
Do you know Liz Cheney? She's a representative from Wyoming and a leading Trump hater even though listed as a Republican. Why Cheney entered into congress in 2017 her net worth was listed at $7 million. Two years later she had upped it to $22 million and now, in 2022, her net worth is $44 million as in dollars.
Sadly, if you checked out the totals for all congressmen I suspect they'd want to make you puke all over yourself.
