I don't know if it's an Iowa word but whenever we came across a person who was bombastic and overbearing the word 'prick' applied. If said person was small in stature we added the word 'little' to prick.
The poster boy for this person today is obvious. Why do I write this? It's because the little prick is 5'6" in height.
