Is it only me or has the allure of Hollywood lost its luster. I date back to movie watching in the early 1950's and grew up with the likes Audie Murphy, Cary Grant and John Wayne. On the female side of the ledger there was many real beauties. One of those was also perky and her name was Doris Day. I miss those days and their stars of the silver screen.
Today's starlets, to me, are a mystery. I can't even name one that gets my gitcheegoome running. One of the 'stars' of today is Jennifer Lawrence. She's a nutjob. The 32 year old grew up in Louisville and I saw some of her early work and enjoyed it.
Today, though, Jennifer has gone the way of Mary Todd Lincoln. The poor lady was looney tunes if ya' know what I mean. Anyway, and I get a kick out of this. Ms. Lawrence gave an interview to the UK Daily mail describing how miserable is her life because her entire family are Trump supporters. Furthermore, she said she goes to bed at night knowing she's going to have nightmares thinking about Tucker Carlson from Fox News because he has given pro-life speeches. In addition, she goes to a therapist to get rid of her 'Trump thoughts'.
It must be absolutely horrid to have a bazillion dollars, exceptional looks, be able to go anywhere in the world one desires and have their entire life ruined because of a guy who isn't in the White House anymore and another who's on television.
Jennifer is the babe on left holding an Oscar. I suspect if she thinks about Trump, or Tucker she just might slam it over her head causing greater brain damage.
By the way, whatever happened to the Hollywood guy, Harvey Weinstein, who is accused of raping 340,000 would be starlets. Is he in jail yet? Does he give Jennifer Lawrence nightmares?
