I'm a couple weeks early with a baseball story since Major League pitchers and catchers don't go to camp until mid-February but I came across a statistic of one of my favorite pitchers I just had to include it in this blog.
Greg Maddux was a marvel. He started out with my team, the Cubs, but then moved on to the Atlanta Braves. If I were to coach again Maddox would be the player I'd want my pitchers to emulate.
Check out these statistics from only one game. Truly amazing! And the incredible part is he didn't throw 90 mph. In his later years he came in at 82 mph but he could paint the corners.
