Did you know our southern border was under attack? Oh, I'm not talking about illegal immigrants. The United States government is cracking down on that pricey item, the egg, being smuggled into our country.
"We are seeing an increase in people attempting to cross eggs from Juarez to El Paso because they are significantly less expensive in Mexico than the U.S.," U.S. Customs and Border Protection spokesman Roger Maier told CBS MoneyWatch. In the meantime over 250,000 illegal immigrants sneaked across the border LAST MONTH. It' an all-time record. It's even been said many of these potential terrorists, murderers, sex traders, might even have been carrying an egg or two in their underwear.
