Jamario Howard(front right) and his buddies were having lunch in an Oxford Alabama restaurant. Howard looked over to his left and noticed an elderly lady having lunch by herself and thought, "Gee, I'd have to eat all by myself" so he invited her to join them.
After some small talk the lady mentioned she was having a tough day. Tomorrow, she said, would have been my 60th wedding anniversary. According to her those young men eased the pain of her loss.
Sometimes, I believe we're so into ourselves we forget what an act of kindness can do for others.
What a wonderful story to start my day.
