It's tedious waking up in the morning, turning on the television and listening to the same stories. What I wouldn't give to have Alar in the news. Or how about cranberries giving us cancer. You youngsters are probably wondering what I'm writing about. I never worried about cancer and cranberries. Who the hell would eat that junk anyway. It's like having fruitcake for Christmas. No!
People get sick and die every day. The percentage of Coronvirus in the world is at about 1.2. It's slightly ahead of the regular old flu.
From what I've read those over 75 are most likely to die. The average life expectancy of females in the U.S. is 78. So I say if you happen to be in your mid-70's or above go out and get drunk.
Hey, y'all, don't forget to wash you hands. Don't most people go weeks on end without washing their hands? Don't touch your mouth or nose with your hands. Mike Bloomberg should have paid attention.
For years whenever I use a restroom other than my own I grab a kleenex or my sleeve to open a door. Common sense, huh? When I'm using any restroom and need to raise the toilet seat I always lift it with my shoe. Doesn't every guy do this? When I sneeze I cover my nose and mouth and use the 'vampire method' with my forearm. Once again it's common sense and good training.
I was reading the UK Daily Mail. It had an article saying not to touch money. Fat chance of that. The same goes for not touching your face. What next, not biting your fingernails?
Two weeks ago I was plagued with a hard cough that started at three in the morning; thought I was going to break ribs and bring my intestines out through my throat. My head ached. My nose ran. I felt like I'd run a marathon 24/7. Not once did I believe I had the you-know-what virus.
What this constant news is doing is creating fear among the populace. Remember FDR saying in 1933 about the Great Depression: "We have nothing to fear but fear itself". Wouldn't it be nice if this was practiced?
