After Harry Truman's last day office he and wife Bess got in their car and motored back home to Independence, Missouri. I liked Harry. He was crusty, swore a lot. When a New York Times reporter criticied his daughters piano playing Harry answered reporters in the following way about the incident, "I'd like to punch the man in his goddam snout". Truman was honest and he may have been the last president who was.
