China's Ever Changing Culture

Not to be the bearer of bad tidings but it might be possible China has overtaken a country led by a boob as the most powerful in the world. Yesterday they were the first nation to sign a peace treaty with the Taliban.

I thought there were three significant changes in China in recent weeks that deserved attention. First, the ChiComs have gotten rid of their one child policy. I wonder why. Second, the government has decreed that all children under the age of 18 will be allowed on one hour of video game time on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Some liberals might say, "How could they even guarantee this could be achieved?" Oh, I don't know. How does our government know every damn thing we do?

Thirdly, and this is a beauty. On television news lead characters cannot portray any feminine characteristics. In other words, homosexuals with effeminate features and voices need not apply. This better not happen in this country. Chris Hayes at MSNBC would be without a gig as would Don Lemon at CNN. Now we know: Macho in China is in, Fagism is out.

China scares me. Well, not me really but my children and grandchildren should be worried. For one reason they aren't keen on rice. Secondly, they don't like being shot for praciticing their Catholicism.
