I seriously doubt the average American gives a thought about the people being held in solitary confinement in the D.C. jail for participating in the January 6 protest. They are, in some cases, grandmothers and grandfathers who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
The conditions under which these people are forced to survive are abominable. Some have been beaten silly by prison guards. They are, unlike Antifa, denied bail. They are languishing in cells and being denied medicine, showers and basic civil rights.
